Why I Love September

September is my favorite month for a couple of reasons, one of it being our “wedding month.” Well, who could not love that right? And the other one is because IT IS THE FREAKING START OF THE U.S. FALL SHOWS OMG!!!

It took me a lot of countless nights preparing my TV roll and finally I have decided which awesome show I will follow and which ones I had to drop. Also dropping it doesn’t mean not watching it. It’s just that I may watch it in the off season instead of really following it episode after episode. I could also just wait for it in DVD. I would still need my couch potato in the off season right? Multitasking the fun way

I was fiddling with my new toy last night while watching the evening news and waiting for the hubby to arrive from work.

This was what I came up with.

Adaptation

The thing about growing up in a certain environment and learning to adapt in situations resulting from such conditions is that it is so hard to disassociate oneself from ingrained habits, particularly when thrust into a whole new atmosphere.

The other thing about this is that you tend to become misunderstood and you feel even more alienated. Explaining is too cumbersome and doesn’t seem to be a viable option, not when you feel your emotions will get the better of yourself.

If I weren’t naughty, and a whole lot of nice

The –ber months signal the start of the Christmas season, at least in this part of the world. Thankfully, I have not heard sappy Christmas-themed songs or carols all day. Then again, the day hasn’t ended, I did not tune in to my daily morning TV fix and I did not listen to radio at work.

No, I am not a grinch. I just do not like most of the Christmas songs being played on the radio.

Anyhoo, I’ve been meaning to draw up my own Christmas wish list for the longest time. So before work and other mundane things occupy all of my time, I decided to do my list today.

So what do I want?
